I’m Betsy Openshaw. I help women stop fighting themselves around food and finally become consistent—so they can lose weight, keep it off, and actually feel at peace around food and themselves.
After years of my own yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, and trying to be more disciplined… all while losing and gaining weight like it was my job… I realized I was missing something big.
And honestly, that was a hard pill to swallow—because I wasn’t new to this. I knew what to do. I kept thinking I just needed more willpower… more control… more effort. Just try harder. Be better. Stay on track this time.
But what I discovered changed everything for me.
I learned I was dead wrong... it wasn’t about trying harder. It was about how my brain was wired to make decisions under stress, low energy, and emotion and why, in those moments, it would default to the exact patterns I was trying so hard to break.
Once I understood what was actually happening neurologically, why the same loops kept running and how to interrupt them, it was like… wait, THIS is why nothing I’ve tried has stuck.
And then solving it became so much simpler than I expected. The constant back-and-forth in my head started to quiet down. The pull toward food lost its intensity. And for the first time, staying on track felt steady… not like a daily fight I had to gear up for. My relationship with food went through a complete overhaul.
That discovery became the foundation of my work over the past several years - helping women rewire those same patterns, build real self-trust, and finally feel in control again. The Stay on Track SequenceTM was born after years of maintaining my weight loss and helping 100+ real clients.
